Yucca Fins were born from necessity. When Sean Starky couldn’t find fins with the right balance of flex, comfort, and power, he made his own. Yucca Fins are built to move with you—fast, responsive, and reliable in any conditions.

This fin was designed with the Newport Beach Wedgehead, Johnny "Potato Head" Karam, using real-world feedback from time spent in the ocean to dial in performance, comfort, and control. 

The Short Blade Soft Flex Fin is designed for everyday ocean use, bodysurfing, and all-around swimming in all conditions. It delivers easy, efficient propulsion with a soft, forgiving feel, featuring a soft top and bottom foot pocket for maximum comfort over long sessions. Soft Flex is our most accessible flex, built for comfort, ease of kick, and low fatigue. It’s the right choice for most swimmers and ideal for those who want a relaxed, forgiving ride in the ocean. The Short Blade design keeps things quick and responsive in the water, while the Soft Flex prioritizes comfort and ease over maximum power output. Choose Long Blade Soft Flex if you want more thrust per kick and improved efficiency over longer distance swimming.

FIN CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Rinse with fresh water after use. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or hot environments to preserve rubber integrity and flex performance.

 

Short blade fins offer quicker, more responsive kicks—ideal for bodysurfing, lifeguarding, or navigating shorebreak where speed and agility matter. They’re less fatiguing and easier to control, especially in tight surf zones. Long blade fins, on the other hand, generate more thrust per kick, making them better for covering distance or deep-water swimming. It’s a trade-off: short blades = speed and control, long blades = power and distance.
